Lorenzo Boccabella

Consultant – Barrister-at-law in private practice, specialist in migration law

Mr Boccabella, barrister, is our independent external consultant on migration law. We brief Mr Boccabella for professional advice and for representation at tribunal and court hearings. By being briefed by Parish Patience he is able to directly assist you on your matter including specific strategic advice in relation to visas.

Mr Boccabella has over 35 years of practice & is recognised as a Specialist in Migration Law. Over the years, Mr Boccabella has appeared extensively in all Australian Tribunals and Courts dealing with migration matters, including the High Court, all Federal Courts, and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.  He brings a wealth of experience to you matter.

By way of example, he was lead counsel in one of Australia’s most important High Court migration cases:

Arul Niles

Consultant – Solicitor (Non-immigration matters)

Arul Niles has over 25 years of litigation experience in the Federal Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, District Court and Local Court.

In private practice since 1998, Arul’s experience spans transactional work, drafting and advising on commercial agreements including joint venture contracts for property development and finance agreements , IT contracts, shareholders agreements and franchise agreements.

He has also extensive experience in Family Law matters (complex property disputes and parenting matters) and mediation.  He has settled may disputes taking a collaborative approach to the disputes.

Prior to 1998, Arul was employed by the Australian Government Solicitor’s Office for 8 years as a Senior Solicitor and acted for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in matters under the Trade Practices Act (Australian Consumer Law) and large contract disputes arising from contracts with the Department of Defence and other Commonwealth agencies.

He has also prosecuted in criminal matters whilst employed as a Solicitor with the Director of Public Prosecutions (NSW).

The Firm has also a conveyancing team to assist with the purchase and sale of property and sub-division to assist property developers.
