190 visa processing times currently take about 12 to 18 months. You can check the status of your visa application via your ImmiAccount. You will receive a visa decision in writing.
An invitation round is a systematic approach that the Australian Government implements to carefully select migrant workers who will contribute to the country’s skilled workforce and address labour shortages nationwide.
Invitation rounds happen all year round. The nominating authorities do not publicly announce dates as to when they will assess, select, and approve applications. This also means you can submit your EOI anytime within the financial year and not worry about it affecting your chances of being approved or refused a 190 visa.
