Supporting your child’s educational journey in Australia is one of the most meaningful commitments you can make as a parent. The Student Guardian Visa (Subclass 590) allows you to stay with your child and take care of your child while they study in Australia, but navigating the eligibility requirements, work restrictions, and application process can feel overwhelming. At Parish Patience, we guide families through every step of the guardian visa process, ensuring you can focus on what matters most—being there for your child’s success.

The Australian government prioritises the best interests of children under 18. Parents with children abroad will worry less if they can care for them personally. This is why Australia provides a student guardian visa in addition to the student visa.

The guardian visa holder must be able to shoulder their financial expenses during the entirety of their stay in Australia until the student completes his/her education or while their 590 visa remains valid.
